The Umami tastebud explosion of the Lao Cuisine!

Umami (o͞oːˌmäːmē), or savoriness, is one of the five basic tastes (i.e. sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and savory). Many Lao dishes are made with a marinated fish sauce, which, according to Bon Appétit Magazine is "sweet, salty, fishy, and funky all at once, a prismatic tsunami of flavor"!

The Unique & Delicious

Entrees like our Nam Khao (a delicious crispy rice salad made with cured pork, coconut, red curry, lime, fish sauce, and fresh herbs) and Sai Oua (our spicy Lao grilled pork sausage bursting with the robust flavors of lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, and red chilis.) are truly unique and delicious at the same time.

We absolutely love Laos to Your House! We’ve ordered both delivery and
attended their in person events. No matter what, the food, hospitality, and
vibes have been amazing. Stacy and her team have worked so hard to create such
a fantastic company and we always have a blast. Swing by and enjoy some
incredible Lao food and meet some great people!

My go-to for comfort food!!! I’ve done takeout, gone to their pop-ups, and
joined their Lao new year celebration. The food is always spot on and makes me
miss home. I love bringing my friends who have never had Lao food before and
they all love it as well. Not only that, Stacy always makes me feel like we’ve
known each other for years! I will be going back again and again.

Sooooo freaking goooood! Being from the SF Bay Area, I was missing my
favorite Laotion restaurant, so I looked up Laotion food here and found Laos to
Your House. I was initially disappointed to see that they were all the way in
Chicago, but then was happy to discover that they occasionally delivered to the
burbs through a service called Dwell Social. Let. Me. Tell. You. They did not
disappoint AT ALL! The food tasted so authentic and absolutely delicious! My
partner even said it was the best meal he had this year, and easily the top ten
of his life. It was not an exaggeration. I completely agree!! Please open a
spot in Naperville!! Please, pretty please?

So happy to have some Laotian cuisine in Chicago. Cannot say enough about
how amazing the service and the food has been incredible! Love all the weekly
specials and just introducing the Laos culture to the US.

Normally the only place I could get Lao food was a home cooked meal by
family. So it was a breath of fresh air to see a Lao restaurant open locally
and especially in Chicago!! I cant say enough about Stacy and Byron who are
genuinely humble people who want people to experience Lao food and culture. The
food is so good and flavorful. Every bite makes me feel like Im having a home
cooked meal. Cant wait to order again and support!!

Fantastic food from some amazingly nice folks! Laotian food is a pretty blind spot for me in terms of cuisine, but this has been a great entry point. Everything is great but the nam khao is definitely my favorite
