To Reheat Khao Niew (sticky rice):

  • Consume within 1 day of receiving the rice. Open up a corner of the Ziploc bag to create steam and ventilation. Microwave for 45 seconds. The rice will be perfectly steamed and soft!

Well done on the food packaging itself. They all looked so appetizing and hardly as if they’ve been shipped. The only thing is the thom khem had spilled a little into the rice portion but isn’t that the point LOL!

Yall, let me tell you. The food was wonderful. I had the order sent over to Austin , TX and from someone who is Lao and misses home cooked meals, this fulfilled everything that I wanted.

I ordered the nam khao, mok gai, and thom khem. All tasted just like my mom would make at home. Definitely recommend putting the nam khao in the air fryer and squeezing some lime into it this was crispy and refreshing.

I would highly recommend you do some meal prep and order from Laos to your house for an authentic Lao experience.
