Although there are some similarities, the Lao Cuisine is uniquely different! First, the Lao Cuisine is primarily served with fresh greens and herbs, as opposed to being cooked as cuisines sometimes do. Second: The Sticky Rice! Sticky rice is paired with most meals and makes for a lightly interactive experience. Third: The Lao Papaya Salad is fresh, savory, and spicy, unlike other papaya salads. Fourth: The Umani tastebud explosion from all of the fresh herbs, spices, and fresh ingredients, as well as combining the main meal with sticky rice and special Lao dipping sauces. Last, but not least, through our curated ready-made-meals, we make it easy to explore the Lao cuisine!

Great question! We want to make sure that when you receive our Lao cuisine ready made meals, that they are as fresh as the day we cooked them. We have consulted with a food scientist as well as industry publications and the overwhelming consensus was that fresh frozen is better for you and your experience than receiving a meal that has been refrigerated for two days as it makes its way to you. Also, by receiving all of your ready-made-meals freshly-frozen, you can enjoy them on your schedule and not be concerned about wasting food because it sat too long in the refrigerator. And rest assured, we have thoroughly tested the reheating guidelines and your food will be delicious!
