Sai Oua is a spicy grilled pork sausage that is bursting with the robust flavors of lemongrass, dill, kaffir lime leaves, and red chilis.

Shellfish, fish 

Pork, pork fat, glutinous rice, kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, red onions, dill, padaek (fermented fish sauce), fish sauce, curing salt, dried pepper flakes, monosodium glutamate, and sausage casing. 

Microwave (Please note that the recommended reheating time is for a 1000-watt microwave. Reheating time may vary depending on the model and power of microwave.):

  • Frozen: puncture film in three spots to allow ventilation and steam. Microwave for 2:00-2:30 minutes and remove from microwave. Remove film and enjoy! 
  • Thawed: puncture film in three spots to allow ventilation and steam. Microwave for 1:45-2:00 minutes. Remove film and enjoy!

Air Fryer (pre-heat air fryer for five minutes to 350 degrees): 

  • Frozen: remove sausages from tray and warm up at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes, flipping the sausages over halfway through. 
  • Thawed: remove sausages from tray and warm up at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes, flipping the sausages over halfway through.

Well done on the food packaging itself. They all looked so appetizing and hardly as if they’ve been shipped. The only thing is the thom khem had spilled a little into the rice portion but isn’t that the point LOL!

Yall, let me tell you. The food was wonderful. I had the order sent over to Austin , TX and from someone who is Lao and misses home cooked meals, this fulfilled everything that I wanted.

I ordered the nam khao, mok gai, and thom khem. All tasted just like my mom would make at home. Definitely recommend putting the nam khao in the air fryer and squeezing some lime into it this was crispy and refreshing.

I would highly recommend you do some meal prep and order from Laos to your house for an authentic Lao experience.
