Kua Mee is a classic Lao noodle dish. The sweet and savory caramelized noodles are mixed with eggs, crunchy bean sprouts, and fresh herbs. The sweetness comes from the caramelized sugar, and the savory comes from the fish sauce, soy sauce, and garlic. Pork or vegetarian options available.

Ingredients: rice noodles, bean sprouts, green onion, cilantro, sugar, water, tamarind, palm sugar, fish sauce, salt, vegetable oil, sweet dark soy sauce, and garlic.

Reheating Instructions:

Microwave (Please note that the recommended reheating time is for a 1000-watt microwave. Reheating time may vary depending on the model and power of microwave.): 

  • Frozen: puncture film in two spots to allow ventilation and steam. Microwave for 2:30-2:45 minutes. Remove film, mix noodles, and enjoy. 

  • Thawed: puncture film in two spots to allow ventilation and steam. Microwave for 1:30-1:45 minutes. Remove film, mix noodles, and enjoy.

Your House. I was initially disappointed to see that they were all the way in
