Football season is here!! 🏈🤗 To ring in the beginning of the football season, we had to drop a new “You Got LAO’d” video! 😎

For those new to the Lao cuisine and culture, we introduce our “You Got LAO’d” series! Today’s lesson - how to eat khao niew (sticky rice) and jeow (dipping sauce)! Today’s lesson: what do you eat with khao niew (sticky rice)?? The answer….everything! Whether it’s Lao spicy sausage, Lao beef jerky, pork som moo or jeow bong, we use sticky rice as the base for most of our meals. When I was a kid, I even ate hot sticky with just salt on it 🥰 All of these dishes are available on our menu to try with some sticky rice. Tap into your inner foodie and give Lao cuisine a try! Today’s lesson - what to drink with your Lao meal! A nice shot of cognac with family and friends will typically accompany our meals! Just don’t believe a Lao person when they say “just one shot” 🤭 So, make sure you have some cognac or a nice cold beer to enjoy with your delicious Lao meal! Just make sure you order enough food to absorb the cognac! 🥃
